What we’re doing isn’t easy. But nothing worth doing ever is.

We envision a future powered by robots that work seamlessly with human teams. We build artificial intelligence that enables service robots to collaborate with people and adapt to dynamic human environments. Join our mission-driven, venture-backed team as we build out our customer-facing operations arm. At Diligent Robotics, our robots are already working in hospitals across the country, helping care teams focus on what matters most: patient care. As our deployments scale, we are building a world-class commercial organization to ensure our partners realize meaningful operational and financial value from our technology.

As a Senior Account Manager you are responsible for owning and growing strategic relationships with Diligent Robotics’ health system partners. This role serves as the primary commercial point of contact for executive stakeholders within client organizations, ensuring successful deployments, renewals, and expansion of robotic workflows across departments, hospitals, and health systems. The Senior Account Manager will work cross-functionally with customer success, operations, product, and sales teams to maximize customer value, secure contract renewals, and identify opportunities to expand the adoption of Diligent’s robotic solutions across new sites and use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, including hospital executives, operational leaders, innovation teams, and clinical leadership.

  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.

  • Drive contract renewals and revenue retention across existing client accounts.

  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand robotic deployments across additional hospital sites, departments, and workflows.

  • Develop account strategies that align Diligent’s solutions with each customer’s operational, clinical, and financial objectives.

  • Lead executive business reviews to demonstrate value, ROI, and operational impact delivered by Diligent’s robots.

  • Partner with internal teams—including Customer Operations, Product, Engineering, and Implementation—to ensure successful deployments and ongoing customer outcomes.

  • Translate customer feedback and operational insights into actionable input for product and engineering teams.

  • Manage complex stakeholder environments and procurement processes within large health systems.

  • Track and forecast account performance, pipeline expansion opportunities, and renewal timelines.

  • Identify risks to customer satisfaction or retention and proactively drive mitigation plans.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on how to scale robotics adoption within their organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in account management, customer success, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships.

  • Proven track record of managing and expanding enterprise-level accounts.

  • Experience driving contract renewals, upsells, and long-term customer growth in a quota- or revenue-carrying role.

  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.

  • Experience navigating complex organizations and multi-stakeholder decision environments.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect customer outcomes to business value.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.

  • High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with health systems or healthcare technology companies.

  • Experience with robotics, automation, AI, or emerging technologies.

  • Background in enterprise SaaS, medical devices, healthcare IT, or operational technology.

  • Experience managing multi-site enterprise deployments.
