The Role:
We are looking for a passionate Solutions Consulting Director to join our team in building and transforming the future of the e-commerce industry. If you are the type of person who is excited about the opportunity to work with the smartest people in the industry on the most cutting solutions to help brands move to this new world - and generate billions of dollars of brand value in the process - then this is the role for you. At CommerceIQ, you will be the driving force behind technological change and innovation at the world’s largest brands.
This role is primarily focused on demonstrating the value of CommerceIQ software in relation to prospects’ business objectives. This spans across ecommerce retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, Instacart, etc) and functional verticals (Sales, Retail Media, Operations, etc).
An ideal candidate will have an innate understanding of a prospect’s goals (Gross Sales, Market Share, etc) and pain points running their ecommerce business. In partnership with an Account Executive, the Solutions Consulting Director will demonstrate the value of CommerceIQ through presentations, demos, and strategic consultations.
What You'll Do:
Work directly with a small group of Account Executives to achieve CommerceIQ targets
Drive sales deals forward by providing prospects insight into our products’ functionality as well as helping them to understand what can be accomplished on our platform
Uncover client challenges and opportunities through deep customer discovery
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our CommerceIQ products and services and how to integrate them to our customers' digital flywheel
Kick off initial discussions around integration timeline and custom product needs, as well as help set expectations on product scope and pricing
Identify and execute on opportunities to drive efficiency within the sales cycle
Understand and demonstrate CommerceIQ technically to all levels of the enterprise
Collaborate with Services, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Sales Operations for tactical planning and support
Clearly articulate the value of CommerceIQ solutions
Tailor product demos to all levels including functional employees up to C level executives
Creatively develop solutions to unsolved and complex business problems with CIQ, it’s API, and integrated apps and partners
Challenge prospects on their current operating model and build a compelling business case for CommerceIQ
Advise on sales and upsell opportunities and act as subject matter expert in prioritizing those sales opportunities
Provide input to the product roadmap based on market needs
What You'll Bring:
At least one of the following
5+ years working for a manufacturer managing a retail e-commerce business (Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Kroger, etc). Omni business management is a desired qualification
OR 5+ years of agency experience supporting the eCommerce via a SaaS platform or managed services
Detailed understanding of the e-commerce marketplace and working with large enterprise accounts
A story teller at heart, you are a proficient presenter that can take complex topics and articulate them in a clear, concise manner
Autonomous problem solver - you don’t just identify problems, you identify problems and recommend a way to solve them
History of working cross-functionally to reach and exceed organizational sales targets
High level of curiosity, high energy, self-motivated; a proven track record of successful career growth
Ability to generate analysis and insight from raw data
Nice to have: Data proficiency
