We’re looking for a hands-on Production Support Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience supporting financial or SaaS applications in production environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional settings, understands both technical systems and business needs, and can troubleshoot complex issues with clarity and urgency. You will work closely with engineering, product, and client-facing teams to ensure our applications remain stable, performant, and reliable. This position requires a blend of technical troubleshooting, system understanding, clear communication, and the ability to improve processes that support our clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve production issues across applications and integrations.
Read and debug Java-based applications, logs, and stack traces.
Troubleshoot REST APIs, MySQL queries, and data inconsistencies.
Provide support in AWS environments and assist in monitoring services.
Use Git for version control and understanding code changes.
Document incidents, solutions, and processes clearly.
Work cross-functionally to improve reliability, workflows, and client experience.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Computer Science (Bachelor’s preferred).
2+ years in production/technical support, ideally in fintech or SaaS.
1+ year working with Java-based applications.
Experience with REST APIs, MySQL, SQL, AWS, and Git.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Jira/Confluence preferred.
(Optional) Knowledge of Python, networking, ETL, or server administration.
