Responsibilities
Independently develop, test, and deploy production code that is high-quality and correct.
Hold a high quality bar by reviewing teammates’ code.
Contribute to technical design while collaborating with more senior engineers.
Improve testability, operational excellence metrics, and documentation.
Lead small or medium sized projects in a self-directed manner, showing prioritization skills and seeking guidance when appropriate.
Use engineering tools to track work and communicate progress.
Generate appropriate documentation and take initiative to improve documentation/runbooks/etc.
Influence peers/manager and actively seek mentorship.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
At least two years of industry experience as a full time software engineer.
Industry experience writing code in an object-oriented programming language.
Experience reviewing teammates’ code.
Communication and Collaboration
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey engineering-related topics to team members.
A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, capable of working effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize their own work.
Problem Solving and Leadership
Effective problem-solving skills to analyze and debug code.
Curiosity to learn and openness to feedback.
Bonus Points
Experience with technical design.
Experience mentoring another engineer.
Ability to convey engineering-related topics to partner teams.
