Our ‘Communications' development team is on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned software engineer to contribute to the advancement of our MessagesXR (Extended Reach) product. MessagesXR seamlessly integrates email, SMS texts, voice calls, mobile app notifications, and website alerts into a unified platform.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll be instrumental in driving project delivery and spearheading innovation across our product suite and engineering landscape. We seek an adept developer committed to delivering top-tier software solutions as part of our collaborative team.

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be able to demonstrate technology acumen, and commit and deliver solutions on time.

• Design, develop and deploy scalable software solutions ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications and actionable code.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices and coding standards.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely solutions to address customer-reported problems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software development

  • Professional Ruby on Rails experience

  • Experience working with Git.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges

  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality, well-tested code.

  • Experience writing unit tests is a must.

  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, as well as the ability to contribute effectively to group projects and communicate with cross-functional teams.

  • The ability to clearly communicate projects, requirements, and technical challenges.

• Nice to Haves:

  • React.js / full stack experience

  • Tailwind

  • Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Project work with communication products and technologies (sending emails, SMS, voice, and push notifications)
