We're seeking a Software Architect to bridge our AWS-first, serverless platform with critical enterprise systems. This role requires someone who can design elegant cloud solutions while understanding the complexities of enterprise IT decision-making. You'll be the key technical liaison between our engineering teams and IT leadership, driving both immediate integration needs and long-term technology strategy.
What You'll Do
Architecture & Systems Design Leadership
Lead the design of cloud-native integration architectures using cloud-native patterns connecting to enterprise systems
Define integration strategy that balances modern cloud-native principles with enterprise system constraints and requirements
Design event-driven architectures that support both real-time and batch processing needs across enterprise platforms
Create domain-driven design patterns that align with both business capabilities and technical system boundaries
Enterprise Technology Strategy
Advise IT leadership on technology choices for MarTech and related enterprise systems, considering integration complexity and cloud-native patterns.
Participate in vendor evaluations and technology assessments, providing technical guidance on integration feasibility and architectural fit
Translate between enterprise requirements and modern cloud architecture patterns, ensuring solutions meet both worlds' needs
Drive architectural decisions that support business agility while maintaining enterprise-grade security, compliance, and reliability
Architect scalable MarTech solutions that integrate seamlessly to empower data-driven marketing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Manage and set expectations for stakeholders in both enterprise and product platform areas
Partner with other internal groups to ensure integration solutions meet enterprise standards for security and compliance.
Work closely with engineering teams to implement proof-of-concepts and guide technical implementation of complex integrations.
Facilitate architecture reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders ranging from developers to engineering leadership
Mentor development teams on cloud-native integration patterns and enterprise system architecture best practices.
Technical Implementation
Hands-on involvement in designing and prototyping critical integrations using Well Architected technologies
Define service contracts and data flow patterns for enterprise system integrations
Establish monitoring, observability, and operational excellence practices for integration platforms
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on system performance metrics and business needs
Design and optimize MarTech solutions to enhance search visibility and audience engagement across SEO, AEO, and AO channels
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
8+ years architecting large-scale integration solutions with at least 5 years focused on cloud platforms; AWS experience a plus
Proven experience with domain-driven design and event-driven architecture patterns
Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and data integration patterns
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, SAM, CloudFormation)
Enterprise Technology Knowledge
Strong background integrating enterprise systems; MarTech experience a plus (HubSpot, 6sense, SalesForce, Contentful)
Knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, and data governance requirements
Familiarity with enterprise change management and vendor relationship dynamics
Leadership & Communication Skills
Proven ability to influence technical decisions in cross-functional, matrixed environments
Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
Track record of leading technical initiatives that span multiple teams and systems
Strong presentation and documentation skills for architecture reviews and strategy discussions
Preferred Qualifications
Background in both startup/scale-up and enterprise environments
Experience with data streaming and real-time processing architectures
Knowledge of modern observability and monitoring tools

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $170,000 plus variable compensation.
