Are you passionate about making a real impact through meaningful initiatives? Join us as a Social Value Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Social Value strategy - aligned with the UK Government’s Social Value Model. Reporting to our Social Value Manager, this is your chance to influence change and outcomes and help us win work that truly matters.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Social Value Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to embed social value across our projects. You will:
Craft compelling Social Value solutions for tenders by analysing customer requirements and producing high-impact written responses and project plans.
Ensure consistency and clarity across all written content, maintaining a strong and persuasive tone.
Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, consultants, project leads, and subject matter experts to gather insights and shape strategic responses.
Maintain up to date knowledge of the latest in Social Value policy, procurement trends, and frameworks like PPNs, TOMs, and the Social Value Model.
Maintain a powerful content library, updating templates and standard responses to reflect our evolving best practices.
Track and report on our impact, gathering evidence and uploading KPIs to measurement platforms with accuracy.
Drive engagement by working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives that make a difference.
Present insights and outcomes through clear, data-driven reports - written, financial, and statistical.
Champion continuous improvement, applying lessons learned to strengthen future bids and proposals.
Shape the future by making recommendations that evolve our Social Value strategy.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
A solid understanding of Social Value and/or Corporate Social Responsibility.
Experience in writing bids or tenders for the public sector.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience producing impactful reports.
Impeccable organisation and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Effective collaboration skills with the confidence to work independently.
Relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders and drive results.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to making a difference.
