This Social Media Manager position is needed to build our community and increase brand awareness for Twilio.
We’re looking for a storyteller who can create original, compelling content that amplifies our brand and expands our reach. We want someone who can write concisely and creatively, and isn’t afraid to test new, bold ideas. This person should be fluent in short-form video and know how to make an audience feel something. We’re looking for someone who can cut through the noise.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Create compelling, on-brand content showcasing our customers, capabilities, and culture.
Manage our social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and help us launch our TikTok.
Help execute our editorial calendar and campaigns.
Manage Twilio’s employee advocacy program, equipping our global and regional teams to share content.
Engage and build our community of technical developers, consumers, and business decision makers daily.
Collaborate with key company stakeholders on goals for campaigns, product releases, events, and other company-wide initiatives.
Contribute to Twilio’s mission of building the world’s leading customer engagement platform by showing what’s possible with it.
Create interesting, engaging content for our top executives.
Perform analysis and use data to prove our program is growing and our bets are paying off.
Constantly experiment and test new tactics to reach new audiences.
Partner with our Employee Brand team to help tell the stories of Twilions to external audiences.

*Required:
Has experience managing brand social.
Expresses complex thoughts or ideas in 100 characters or less.
Thinks outside of the box and presents ideas clearly.
Is organized and loves to take projects and run with them.
Uses data to tell a story and has proven success on social.
Experience using social management tools, including Sprout Social, Canva, Figma, EveryoneSocial.
Enjoys building community.
Likes to have fun.
Desired:
Experience with live video, graphic design.
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $31.77/hour - $39.71/hour.
Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $33.66/hour - $42.07/hour.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $37.34/hour - $46.68/hour.
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
