About the position

We are looking for Shopify Developer to develop and improve our e-com store. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Shopify's core functionalities and writing code for Shopify (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind).

Responsibilities

  • Implement Figma designs and Shopify Liquid templates.
  • Write JavaScript to power custom functionality.
  • Participate in continually improving the existing codebase, updating code to follow new and improved best practices whenever possible.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high code quality.
  • Engage in pair programming with other developers on the team to unblock challenges.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices, helping the team to implement when suitable.
  • Overlap frequently with European time zones and infrequently with US time zones.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Shopify Theme Development (Liquid, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Tailwind).
  • Experience implementing designs from Figma.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A strong portfolio of working on live Shopify stores or Shopify Theme Store Themes.
  • Understanding and experience implementing SEO and Performance best practices.
  • Familiarity with modern development practices and tools, with a commitment to continuous learning.

Details

The role is a remote position, with a 40-hour workweek, flexible working hours, frequent EU overlap, and infrequent US overlap.
