ServiceNow Developer
Position Summary: CoreSphere is seeking an experienced, qualified, and certified ServiceNow Technical Consultant (TC) / System Administrator (SA) with both ServiceNow Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and implementation experience. Role is to serve as the ServiceNow O&M TC/SA support and enhance a mature ServiceNow FedRAMP certified hosted solution for a US Federal agency. This position is 100% remote. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated successful experience as a ServiceNow O&M TC/SA across the full agile project lifecycle of activities managing ServiceNow solutions. Current platform includes IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Workspace Service Delivery (WSD), Financial Services Management (FSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD), Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Discovery, and Performance Analytics, Nuvolo, and other custom applications.
Position requires supporting agile/scrum Epic development activities using best practices including collaborating closely with client and consultant Project Managers (PMs), Lead TC and Business Process Consultants (BPCs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders.
Reviewing, leading, and/or contributing to with release planning, sprint planning, solution roadmaps, backlogs, release plans, requirements validation, user story grooming, user stories documentation, bug fix analysis/resolution, enhancements, estimations, development, documenting, supporting Knowledge Base Article (KBA) development, configuring applications, developing designs and prototypes, developing demos, unit testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Performance Testing (PT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, managing deployments, and supporting post-production activities including hypercare.
Designing, configuring and customizing web applications
Supporting any new solutions that are deployed to the Production environment and coordinating periodic refreshes of sub-prod environments from Production
Successfully managing customer expectations and ensuring tasks are estimated and performed on-time and on-budget with high-levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or IT related discipline
Demonstrated experience implementing ServiceNow Workplace Service Delivery (WSD).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
3-5 years ServiceNow technical development experience with projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
3-5 years of experience supporting in a large IT organization, working with SaaS based applications
Proven experience with at least three (3) of the application suites listed above
3+ years of experience programming JavaScript
Experience and/or certification with ITIL practices and O&M support processes
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated capacity to use those interpersonal skills to effectively work with others
Experience implementing and supporting systems using hybrid Waterfall and Agile/Scrum and/or ITIL methodology
Strong business acumen and demonstrated technical competency
Experience using Microsoft Office application suite
Preferred Skills Requirements:
Masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related IT discipline
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any of the application suites listed above
Experience developing, testing, and deploying ServiceNow AppDev custom applications and COTS applications
ITIL v3 Foundation certification
JAVA Object-Oriented Programming Experience
Experience with managing patches, releases, and platform upgrades
Experience coding with JSP
Experience programming using REST or SOAP APIs.
Experience creating, updating, and managing changes to Service Catalogs and Knowledge Base
Experience with data integration
Experience with a scripting language, such as Perl or Python
Experience development SOAP and REST web API's
Experience integrating with LDAP
Experience configuring and developing on Service-now.com platform and report writing
Working knowledge and experience with the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery Languages, SQL Languages
Ability to design, build, configure, develop, test, and deploy solutions directly from requirements and/or high-level designs
Experience building Automated Test Scripts in ServiceNow
Ability to write, understand, optimize, and build Test Classes, create Update Sets, XML files, and migrate code from Dev to Test and Test to Production environments.
