We are seeking a talented and experiencedSenior UX/UI Designerto join our Platform UX Team, focusing specifically on scaling and evolving the coreAsio Design System.
What The Team Does:
The Platform Team is responsible for the overall framework, UI unification, and the human-centered approach to design across the entire Asio Platform. As a Senior Designer focused on the Design System, you will act as a system expert, working on initiatives tied to core UI unification, component creation, governance, and maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency across all ConnectWise products.

Each Senior Designer operates as the UX Owner for specific system initiatives, working collaboratively within an empowered multidiscipline team consisting of a Product Manager, Product Owner, Engineering Manager, Quality Engineer, and Development Team to create a seamless partner experience.
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas:
As aSenior UX/UI Designeron the Platform Team, your primary focus will be deep contribution, ownership, and technical execution of the design system components:
Component Design & Craftsmanship
Expertly build, maintain, and ownthe Figma design system library, ensuring all components and patterns are reusable, accessible, and optimized for designer use (using advanced Auto Layout, Variants, and component nesting).
Ensure 1:1 paritybetween the Figma design components and the corresponding React code library by thoroughly understanding and adhering to front-end implementation constraints.
Design and documentintricate component interaction and usage guidelines (Do's and Don'ts) within the Asio platform, making the system easy to adopt.
Lead the component quality assurance processby proactively testing the interaction and visual quality of each component built in both code and Figma.
Governance, Influence, and Collaboration
Act as a subject matter expertto UX Designers, providing guidance on how to properly audit their designs to identify existing components, required variants, or necessary amendments to the system.
Collaborate closely with product and engineersto define feasibility, review implementation, and facilitate the release of new components and patterns into the shared codebase.
Control and managethe system's contribution pipeline, including reviewing, approving, and merging new variants and amendments proposed by other product teams.
Facilitate regular design system reviewswith UX Designers and Engineering to align oncomponent definitions, ensure UI consistency, and maintain the system's integrity.
Contribute to the system's backlog and roadmapof components and patterns in relation to platform feature deployment and overall technical debt reduction.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this Senior role, you must demonstrate a high degree of technical mastery, strategic systems thinking, and influential leadership skills.
6+ years of progressive UX/UI design experience,with a minimum of3+ years focused specifically on building, managing, and scaling large-scale design systemsor platforms.
Expert-level mastery ofFigma(or a comparable tool), with proven ability to leverage advanced features (Auto Layout, Variants, Component Nesting) to create robust and flexible libraries.
Demonstrated knowledge ofatomic design principles, design tokens, and system governance methodologies(e.g., contribution models, versioning).
Deep understanding of the intricacies of how a component or pattern is built in code, including basic working knowledge ofHTML, CSS, and component frameworks (e.g., React).
A strong portfolio demonstrating the design thinking process and showingspecific examples of design system contribution, component documentation, and cross-functional impact.
Excellent communication and influential skills; able to present and defend system-level design decisions clearly, patiently, and confidently to drive adoption across various teams.
Strong collaborative skills, a growth mindset, and proven ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment.
