The role
We’re hiring Senior Typescript Engineers to join our growing engineering organisation.
You’ll design, build, and operate scalable backend systems powering a mission-critical SaaS platform used by leading crypto and financial institutions. This role focuses on production-grade TypeScript services, complex data workflows, and distributed systems running in a modern cloud-native environment.
Your work will directly support customers who rely on us for financial accuracy, operational integrity, and regulatory compliance. You’ll tackle evolving external APIs, large-scale data processing, reliability challenges, and performance at scale.
You’ll have strong ownership, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the technical direction of the platform as we grow.
Key technologies

What you’ll do
Build and operate scalable backend services in TypeScript
Design robust APIs and distributed systems
Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Integrate and maintain third-party APIs, handling authentication, rate limits, retries, and error recovery
Model and transform complex data into reliable, unified systems
Improve reliability, observability, and performance across services
Contribute to architectural decisions that enhance scalability and resilience
Raise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and system improvements
We’re looking for someone who
Has 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems
Has strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js and can design clean, scalable service architectures
Has built and maintained API integrations at scale (REST/GraphQL), including OAuth, JWT, API keys, rate limiting, and failure handling
Understands distributed systems concepts such as idempotency, background processing, eventual consistency, and observability
Has experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and understands data modelling and performance trade-offs
Writes well-structured, testable, maintainable code
Has owned systems in production, including monitoring, debugging, and improving resilience
Is comfortable taking technical ownership and driving implementation end-to-end
Thrives in high-autonomy, high-expectation environments
Nice to have: experience in fintech, crypto, or other data-intensive domains.
