At HubSpot, we're scaling fast and continuously evolving our Digital Experience to meet the growing needs of our business. As a Sr Technical Project Manager, you'll orchestrate how our engineering teams deploy, operate, and maintain platform reliability at scale.
You'll lead strategic initiatives spanning deployment management, CI/CD optimization, release management and engineering, infrastructure operations, and incident response, transforming deployment velocity and reducing incident response times, enabling our teams to ship with confidence.
You'll collaborate closely with development, marketing technology, security, and QA teams to drive measurable outcomes across deployment frequency, reliability, test automation coverage, and incident resolution. This role requires deep technical fluency in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and incident management; strong project management discipline and strategic influence to shape how work gets done.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Plan and coordinate timelines, dependencies, and resources across deployment, CI/CD, testing, and infrastructure projects, keeping teams aligned and initiatives moving.
Identify and mitigate risks early, especially across shifting priorities and inter-team dependencies.
Ensure security and compliance requirements are integrated into project planning and timelines.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to executives, ensuring alignment and visibility.
Measure progress against operational outcomes using DORA metrics, SLO/SLI health, and operational KPIs rather than just timelines.
Facilitate team meetings and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement across projects and workflows.
We are looking for people who:
Have 4-6 years of project management experience, with deep familiarity in CI/CD, DevOps, release engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or QA domains.
Excels at cross-team coordination and dependency management across engineering, QA, security, and marketing technology teams.
Understand how CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), test automation (Cypress), Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Cloudflare, and observability work
Think systemically about interconnected projects, seeing how deployment, testing, infrastructure, security, and incident response initiatives impact each other.
Communicate clearly about complex technical topics to both engineering teams and executives.
Lead through credibility and influence, earning respect by understanding the domain deeply and facilitating alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Are metrics-driven, fluent in DORA metrics, SLOs/SLIs, and operational analytics to track progress and inform priorities.
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
