Mercury is building financial products to help startups and small businesses scale. Turns out this requires a lot of talented people - especially in Product and Design - so we’re looking to add a Senior Sourcer to our recruiting team!
You’ll play a critical role in hiring great Product and Design talent by building a strong pipeline for the highest priority roles across those organizations.
Here are some things you’ll do on the job:
Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and products
Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers across the business to help build high-performing, diverse teams
Make a friendly first impression on candidates and (no pressure) act as the living embodiment of our cultural values
Manage the top funnel of the recruiting pipeline from initial outreach to their first interviews, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidates
Screen candidates with a keen eye for alignment with our open roles and Mercury values
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives
Experiment with creative ways of sourcing and analyze their effectiveness.
Actively think of ways to improve and scale sourcing processes
Stay informed about industry trends, and act as a subject matter expert for the wider team
You should:
Have 5+ years of technical recruiting and sourcing experience in either Design or Product
See yourself as an expert sourcer and enjoy seeking out passive talent
Be open to working on roles outside of Product and Design as needed
Be comfortable taking initial calls with candidates
Have an almost psychic level of empathy and intuition
Communicate with clarity, thought, and precision
Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams
Like working in a fast-paced environment
Have experience working at a high-growth tech startup
Have a genuine passion for sourcing and everything that comes with it
