Senior Engineer - Stream

We are seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join our Stream team at bunny.net. You will play a pivotal role in the engineering of our globally distributed, high-performing streaming platform that delivers exceptional service and value to our customers. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing backend and API systems, optimizing media subsystems, and integrating advanced technologies like AI into our content delivery platform. What will you do?

• Develop and Enhance Systems: Design, develop, and enhance backend systems and APIs that power our streaming platform, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and efficient.

• Build and Optimize Media Subsystems: Engineer and optimize media subsystems, including encoding, storage, ingestion, and delivery, to provide the best possible streaming experience.

• Integrate AI Components: Work on the integration and optimization of AI components within the streaming platform to enhance features and user experience.

• Design and Deploy Features: Architect and deploy new features that align with product goals and enhance the overall functionality of the streaming platform.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure all components meet high standards of quality and performance.

• Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate collaboration and future development.

• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Implement and continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process and ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
