Our distributed team of engineers works from our Mexico, Austin, San Francisco and Sydney locations and are passionate about building the right product for our customers in the right way.
The B2B team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and maintain the systems that allow B2B merchants to serve their customers using our platform. This includes frontend applications built with JavaScript, React + Typescript. Architecturally we use REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and demonstrate a number of cloud infrastructure tools and deployment strategies.

What You’ll Do
Use JavaScript, React and other frontend technologies to build and maintain web applications
Collaborate with our product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines
Engage in technical discussions to design new solutions and architecture
Review your peers’ code to maintain and improve quality and security
Support an open, positive, and energized culture
Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement
Ensure that technical decisions support our goals around quality, high performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security
Why we’re excited about you
You’re a trusted professional with at least 5 years of experience building amazing products. You have ideas and opinions and you’ve tested and refined them through your work
Minimum Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, SW, CE or MIS; or equivalent experience/completed a comprehensive software engineering boot camp
Professional experience with TypeScript is a strong plus
You have experience monitoring and operating microservices
You have a solid understanding of modern programming and design principles. You write tested, maintainable code that you are proud of and you are committed to keeping code quality high
You are passionate and knowledgeable on modern technologies and tools, without being biased toward a specific technology. You’re more interested in finding the right tools and patterns for the job
You’re an excellent communicator. You can explain not just your ideas, but the reasons behind them, and you’re comfortable to do that in person, over slack or email, or in a code review
You lead by example. You own your work, and hold yourself responsible for results
Our Hiring Processes
We want to see your problem-solving and analytical skills. Be prepared to write good, clean, scalable code. You don’t need to know our entire stack, but we’re looking for practical experience, someone who can tackle production problems in the cloud.
