The B2B team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and maintain the systems that allow B2B merchants to serve their customers using our platform. This includes frontend applications built with JavaScript, React + Typescript. Architecturally we use REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and demonstrate a number of cloud infrastructure tools and deployment strategies.

• Use JavaScript, React and other frontend technologies to build and maintain web applications

• Collaborate with our product and design teams to define feature specifications and timelines

• Engage in technical discussions to design new solutions and architecture

• Review your peers’ code to maintain and improve quality and security

• Support an open, positive, and energized culture

• Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement

• Ensure that technical decisions support our goals around quality, high performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security

Why we’re excited about you

• You’re a trusted professional with at least 5 years of experience building amazing products. You have ideas and opinions and you’ve tested and refined them through your work

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, SW, CE or MIS; or equivalent experience/completed a comprehensive software engineering boot camp

• Professional experience with TypeScript is a strong plus

• You have experience monitoring and operating microservices

• You have a solid understanding of modern programming and design principles. You write tested, maintainable code that you are proud of and you are committed to keeping code quality high

• You are passionate and knowledgeable on modern technologies and tools, without being biased toward a specific technology. You’re more interested in finding the right tools and patterns for the job

• You’re an excellent communicator. You can explain not just your ideas, but the reasons behind them, and you’re comfortable to do that in person, over slack or email, or in a code review

• You lead by example. You own your work, and hold yourself responsible for results

Compensation: Gross Annual Pesos Base Salary Range:  $880,000.00 - $1,300,000.00
