The HubSpot Frontend Platform group owns the tools, libraries, infrastructure, and best practices for making our UI and the engineers who work on it exceptional. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about building frontend development tooling and who get excited about solving problems at scale to join our Frontend Infra Core team within our Frontend Platform group.
The Frontend Infra Core team creates and maintains the core platform and tooling necessary for building HubSpot’s frontend applications and libraries. This team is the “backend of the frontend,” building the tools that empower our engineering teams to effectively ship high-quality frontend applications.
As a member of the Frontend Infra Core team, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain features for our core frontend build platform, package manager, and related CI tooling
Extend the capabilities of our core build platform through deep integrations of tools such as webpack, TypeScript, and Storybook.

Deep expertise and extensive experience customizing frontend build tools such as webpack.
Experience setting up CI infrastructure and tooling on a cloud platform such as AWS.
Familiarity/comfort working with simple backend systems (Java is a plus). This team is primarily frontend focused, but does manage some backend services.
Proven ability to solve complicated technical problems and analyze trade-offs with empathy.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Comfortable performing code reviews, coaching, and mentoring other engineers.
Experience in a microservices or microfrontend environment is a strong plus.
Cash compensation range: 186300-279500 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy from Katie Burke, HubSpot’s Chief People Officer. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons. We know that benefits are also an important piece of your total compensation package. To learn more about what’s included in total compensation, check out some of the benefits and perks HubSpot offers to help employees grow better. At HubSpot, fair compensation practices isn’t just about checking off the box for legal compliance. It’s about living out our value of transparency with our employees, candidates, and community.
