Virtasant is a leading cloud consulting services provider. We heavily focus on lift & shift, cloud-native development, cloud cost optimization, and migration services. As a consulting company, we often are faced with the challenge to create an engineering team in a matter of a week or two. To do that, we have created a secondary support business that runs an engineering talent network and provides staffing services.
Our client is a leading provider of pay equity platforms and analytics and they are looking for two Senior Software Engineers, Frontend to join the Frontend engineering team and collaborate on challenges at a fast-paced startup. Customer success hinges on high-quality platform and application development. You will deliver scalable engineering solutions and transform thoughtful, consistent designs into world-class applications and user experiences that ensure customers meet their workplace equity and fairness goals.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with senior and staff engineers to design and develop small to mid-size features and services delivered to the client's end users.
Implement pragmatic approaches to building enterprise software on a flexible and modern UI framework to deliver a high quality experience to our enterprise customers.
Work closely with cross-functional (backend, product, design, QA, site reliability) teams to propose, evolve, and develop a user experience that makes lasting workplace equity possible for customers.
Focus on secure coding practices and maintainability to ensure new feature implementations fit the needs of a growing engineering organization.
Required Skills
Advanced experience designing and building high volume, scalable applications
Depth of experience using React and Typescript to build web applications
Proficient with CSS, RTK Query, Redux, and Data Visualization Libraries
Competent in common front-end build pipelines and tools (we use Babel, Webpack, NPM)
Strong working knowledge of current testing methodologies, including unit testing and end to end testing (our client uses React Testing Library and Cypress)
Strong experience leveraging current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability
Good communication skills that enable you to interface with both technical and non-technical teams
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional roles in a highly collaborative environment
