Sr Software Developer (Front-end)
Syndigo enables commerce by supporting the efficient transfer of product information through its network of brands and their customers. The company provides descriptive product and nutritional information, images and other digital media, powered by deep analytics to empower engaging brand experiences online and in store. Through Syndigo’s integrated platform, Content Experience Hub, clients can publish, manage, syndicate and audit product content across the largest trading network of brands and recipients in the world.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, Develop and test highly scalable software applications using software best practices and applying important design patterns.
Develop and enhance front-end user interface and experience of Syndigo software. Add new and robust WYSIWYG and reporting dashboards using the Angular framework.
Take mockups and requirements from conception to implementation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing user workflows through the application’s user interface.
Conduct peer code reviews.
Collaborate with peers, product team, quality assurance teams on requirements, implementation details, user experience, operations, and automation.
Agile software development using Jira/Confluence.
Technical Skill and Experience:
5-8 years of experience in designing and developing software using relevant UI technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required:
3+ years of professional experience HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.
3+ years of professional experience with Angular 4+/Typescript.
3+ years of professional experience using REST based HTTP APIs.
Experience with Git version control (1+ years).
Experience using a design system like MaterialUI, Carbon, Metronic, or proprietary, to build consistent user experiences.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Plus:
Experience with C#.
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Experience making sites accessible (WCAG).
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of image and video encoding technologies.
Knowledge of analytics/reporting.
Knowledge of backend technologies.
