We are looking for a senior software engineer to help our team build new and delightful products and develop powerful new capabilities for our users. You will work with a team of engineers and product managers to design, build, and maintain our recently announced product - Smart Spend. Your contributions will impact the business practices of our diverse customer base, spanning from individual entrepreneurs to established enterprises.

What You'll Do:
Design and implement scalable applications in microservice architecture, leveraging best practices and modern technologies like (e.g. Kubernetes)
Collaborate with Product to proactively consider trade-offs, identify risks to timelines, consider where we can improve as a team in order to deliver business outcomes
Collaborate with product managers and UX to design to ship innovative solutions that serve our customers’ needs
Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives
Contribute in team meetings including sprint planning, grooming, and retros, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the team
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously learning and evolving your skills to drive innovation and excellence within the team
About You:
BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and debugging large-scale solutions in cloud-based environments
Experience building web applications at scale
Familiar with LEAN product development and Agile frameworks - Scrum or Kanban
Experience building robust and resilient applications with event-based, microservices architecture
Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and design patterns
Strong understanding with SQL, and familiarity with databases such as Postgres or MySql
Experience with Kubernetes and Argo CD
Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCE)
Strong Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, Next.js, and/or NestJS
Experience building fintech solutions
Experience in writing front-end components using React
Strong teamwork and documentation skills
