Our Opportunity
Role Location: Remote in Bangalore, Mumbai or Delhi
We’re looking for an ambitious, organized, and enterprising individual to join our Snyk team based in India as a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)!
The SDR team at Snyk is responsible for generating new business opportunities through prospecting and qualifying leads. The mission of our SDR Team is to cultivate tomorrow’s leaders while generating net new business today.
Previous SDR / sales experience covering the India region across all key segments is required. Segments include velocity, growth and Enterprise accounts. Through our comprehensive onboarding program, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of our industry, customers, and sales methodology, as well as continued enablement to grow into roles in SDR management, sales (AE/Account Managers), customer development/acquisition, marketing, and more.
You’ll Spend Your Time:
Conducting high volume prospecting through cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn
Covering the entire India market, from velocity to Enterprise
Qualifying leads and running discovery calls using Snyk’s sales methodology
Partnering with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to schedule meetings
Leveraging tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo for account outreach and enrolling accounts in customized sequences
Learning how to best articulate the value proposition of Snyk’s products to prospects across a variety of industries catered to the India region
What You’ll Need:
The ability to speak fluent English
Experience covering velocity, mid market and Enterprise segments in the India market
A resilient and ambitious personality, and always working to continually exceed your goals
An interest in starting a career in sales with a cybersecurity industry leader
The ability to build strong, meaningful relationships and pride yourself on being a great communicator
Enjoyment in collaborating and working in a diverse, high-performing team
Passion for technology and security, and an interest in joining a high-growth and dynamic startup and building a region
Experience in the Cybersecurity space is a plus
