The AirCover team is charged with ideating, building, launching, and managing the AirCover business inside of Airbnb. We have a huge responsibility to our community of Hosts and guests to be there when things don’t go exactly as planned with their reservations. We have a lot of work to do in the coming years and we are looking for someone who will help us deliver best-in-class services to our community.
The Difference You Will Make:
This position at AirCover is pivotal in achieving our revenue goals through our insurance offerings. You will collaborate closely with various Airbnb teams, particularly platform management, finance, and strategic partnerships. Your responsibilities include executing adaptable sales strategies that respond to market dynamics and company objectives. You'll work closely with BD, Product, Account Management, Program Management, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to synchronize and bolster sales initiatives. Your focus will be on driving customer-centric strategies, fostering enduring client and partner relationships to foster sustained growth.
A Typical Day:
Generate new and novel strategies across offer presentation, segmentation, pricing, and features that drive conversion while meeting Airbnb’s standards for customer experience, and
Consistently evaluate sales trends and partner with Finance to develop action plans to maximize value and coverage for our customers and Airbnb, and
Attend industry events where relevant to the business.
Lead sales efforts to achieve and surpass revenue targets, analyzing performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Develop a growth playbook targeting key customer segments and seasonal trends, leveraging experience in digital/online insurance or similar financial products.
Your Expertise:
Demonstrated success in owning revenue targets and crafting growth strategies for online insurance offerings.
Proven ability to thrive in a design-focused, customer-centric environment.
Proficient in navigating legal and compliance complexities to deliver compelling and achievable insurance solutions.
Experienced in delivering high-impact presentations to internal and external C-suite executives, covering topics such as challenges, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
Preferred experience
Experience with Travel Insurance
Bilingual or multilingual a plus
MBA or other advanced degree
Familiarity with Google Suite and Keynote
