We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist adept at managing diverse HR functions, from employee relations to internal communication to policy development and recruitment. Skilled in fostering a positive work environment, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Proven ability to collaborate across departments and provide expert guidance on HR best practices. Seeking to contribute comprehensive HR expertise to a dynamic organization committed to fostering employee growth and organizational success

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to client group leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) in partnership with HR Business Partners.

  • Support the HRBP team’s efforts by actively contributing to the development of department goals, objectives and systems that support not only the efforts of the People Experience department but the company’s strategic direction.

  • Continuously cultivate positive relationships with managers and employees to promote our culture of transparency and collaboration.

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including performance and behavior documentations, and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations in partnership with HRBPs.

  • Answer employee questions on policies, benefits and payroll.

  • Partner with HRBPs to drive execution of HR/Center of excellence programs including, but not limited to talent assessments, career pathing and organizational design.

  • Advise on the development, implementation, maintenance and legal compliance of HR policies, handbooks procedures, protocols and guidelines.

  • Identify, review and analyze local trends & internal data, proactively recommending solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.

  • Assist with processing employee changes, terminations and conducting exit interviews.

  • Manage initiatives and projects that span across across functions.

  • Assist in recruiting for open positions in Mexico and the US

  • Identify and recruit top notch talent across multiple areas of our business

  • Develop  innovative sourcing strategies to attract the best talent and work relentlessly to fill active job openings, and maintain a strong pipeline bench for high volume roles.  

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees across different locales, as needed, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience In Human Resources

  • Proficiency in both the English and Spanish language (reading, writing and speaking)

  • Self-starter with demonstrated autonomy and ability to effectively collaborate and manage multiple competing priorities and projects

  • Solid knowledge of multiple human resource subject areas including compensation, employee relations, talent management, recruiting and federal and state employment laws

  • A well-rounded HR skillset, a true generalist who has an appetite to apply their skills in a wide range of areas

  • Experience applying discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions and handling sensitive information

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Mexico  and the ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues. Multi-geography experience is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, project confidence and build trust easily

  • Ability to work within compressed timeframes and embrace the sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness required in a fast-paced company

  • Born problem-solver who loves coming up with innovative solutions

  • Previous experience using a Candidate Management and/or Applicant Tracking software tool helpful

  • Strong interviewing skills, both in person and over the phone -- the ability to identify the very best talent from average talent 

  • Positive, viewing challenges as opportunities that you translate into actionable items

  • Driven and results-oriented, yet humble - “humbitious”
