Position Overview 

SpryPoint is in a phase of significant growth, allowing us to invest more in unlocking our potential. The role of the Senior Proposal Analyst is crucial in ensuring the realization of sales potential through the delivery of high-quality materials.

As a Senior Proposal Analyst at SpryPoint, you will play a pivotal role within our Sales and Marketing team. Your responsibility will be to oversee the proposal development process, aiming to secure new business and expand our presence in the utilities sector. This position involves collaborating with diverse teams, gathering essential information, and crafting compelling proposals that effectively communicate our value proposition. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with at least 6 years of experience in proposal management or a similar role, demonstrating strong project management, writing, and persuasive proposal creation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire proposal development process, from initial request to final submission.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technical teams to gather information, technical specifications, and solution details.

  • Develop, write, and edit proposal content to ensure alignment with customer requirements and effective addressing of their needs.

  • Create visually appealing and professional proposal documents showcasing SpryPoint's capabilities.

  • Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and case studies for efficient and consistent proposal creation.

  • Customize proposal content to target specific customer needs and tailor messaging accordingly.

  • Review and edit proposals for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand and messaging guidelines.

  • Conduct compliance checks to ensure proposals meet all customer requirements and submission guidelines.

  • Manage proposal timelines, deadlines, and priorities to ensure timely submissions.

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and team members to gather necessary information and integrate their contributions into proposals.

  • Research competitors and industry trends to effectively position SpryPoint's offerings within proposals.

  • Highlight our unique value proposition and differentiators.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in proposal management or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS or utilities industry.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for formatting and design.

  • Knowledge of the utilities industry is advantageous.

  • Proficiency with productivity tools, including Google Office (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Experience with CRM Software, preferably Salesforce.

  • Experience with Proposal Management Software preferred.
