Purpose

As Senior Product Operations Manager, you play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our product development and release process. You collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, consistency, quality, and innovation in our product operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive execution excellence for delivering high-quality products

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline product development processes, including tools and workflows for increased speed, alignment, and visibility

  • Implement product management best practices to improve efficiency, reduce time to market, and enhance cross-functional collaboration

  • Help teams proactively identify risks and dependencies that may impact product delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions

  • Monitor progress against initiatives across the product organization, identify issues or roadblocks, and recommend corrective actions as needed to keep everything on track

  • Work closely with the Chief Product Officer and other senior leaders to understand company strategy, product vision, and OKRs to support decision making of new initiatives and help manage priorities across the product organization and cross-functional teams

  • Help assess resource needs and allocate talent, budget, and other resources to support  initiatives

  • Help identify skill gaps and recommend training, tools, or outsourcing strategies to strengthen the team's capabilities

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure clear understanding of priorities, requirements, and dependencies

  • Help communicate status, updates, and milestones to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment

  • Serve as a bridge between product management, engineering, design, data, risk & fraud, marketing, sales, customer operations, and other departments, fostering alignment and effective communication across cross-functional teams

  • Utilize data and analytics to track key performance metrics, evaluate product management performance, and identify areas for improvement

  • Generate actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in product operations

Position Requirements

  • MBA or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience

  • Proven experience in product operations or product management excellence in a startup or other complex technology or software development environment

  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and product management best practices

  • Excellent communication (with fluency in both English and Spanish) and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Airtable, etc), collaboration platforms, and data analysis tools

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented culture with a focus on continuous learning and improvement

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands effectively

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a rapidly evolving business environment

  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences
