Role Description
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on the sharing capabilities of our core File, Sync and Share offering, you will partner with internal teams across product, marketing, research, and more to drive pre-build, go-to-market, and growth strategies for Dropbox’s hero product in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This PMM will fill a critical role on the team, managing the evolution and expansion of our sharing and collaboration capabilities for hundreds of millions of customers around the world.
Build. Deeply understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to our business, products and solutions, always connecting customer and market insights to roadmap and GTM strategy.
Launch. Bring products to market that prove our unique value, vision, and leadership by partnering with cross-functional teams to expand global customer reach and awareness. Deliver best-in-class product education and communications that highlight our differentiated solutions in the increasingly crowded world of B2B SaaS solutions.
Grow. Develop messaging that demonstrates deep audience and product understanding to effectively sell, continue to advocate for our customers, and use market insights to recommend new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Positioning & Messaging: Craft insights-backed product positioning and messaging that serves as the keystone for internal and external launch assets, marketing programs, web copy, presentations and more.
Research: Partner with internal and external research teams to be an expert in our customers, competitors, and the market. Ensure product narratives and launch plans are communicated crisply and informed by market insights and continuously speaking to our target customers’ challenges and pain points. Act as the voice of the customer and market in product development, design, and strategy sessions.
Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and execute on full-funnel product go-to-market strategies and tactical plans, collaborating closely with the product, pricing & packaging, growth, and integrated marketing teams on content and campaign development. Continuously bring GTM learnings back to the product team to inform product development.
Enablement: Create customer and sales enablement materials, partnering with content, CX, and enablement teams to ensure content is produced and delivered in a tailored way for customers.

Requirements
6+ years of work experience, with 4+ years of B2B product marketing, with a focus on SaaS tools
Efficient, highly productive multitasker; ability to navigate ambiguity and eager to learn
Proven success collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Growth and Research teams to deeply understand customers, develop messaging, create content, and develop and deliver on go-to-market plans
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences at all levels of the organization and customer-facing messaging
Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
Strong project management skills; results-focused with impactful execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented
Bachelor’s degree; MBA nice-to-have
Top 3 traits
Solid product marketing experience, with track record of informing pre-build and driving growth, preferably specifically in the B2B SaaS space
Experience specifically nurturing, growing and expanding existing customer adoption on products
Strong attention to detail and ability to build trust amongst XFN stakeholders through work product and collaborative skills
Preferred Qualifications
Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity
Understands professional services: has worked at an agency or as a management consultant so understands the workflow of Dropbox’s current target audience
Total Rewards
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change): • US Zone 1: $164,900 - $194,000 - $223,100. • US Zone 2: $148,400 - $174,600 - $200,800. • US Zone 3: $131,900 - $155,200 - $178,500. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows: • US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro • US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro), Washington DC metro and West Virginia (DC metro) • US Zone 3: All other US locations
