Join our mission to make the world more transparent with data.

Spokeo is a people search engine that helps over 18 million monthly visitors reconnect with friends, reunite with families, and protect against fraud. Additionally, our 12 billion records and over 250 million unique profiles help business professionals locate people and assets, research criminal investigation subjects, and more.

Founded in 2006, we have grown to a remote-first company of nearly 200 dedicated employees with an average tenure of 4.5 years. Find out why we were named a “Best Company” for 2023 by Comparably for Women, Compensation, Happiest Employees, Company Perks & Benefits, and Work-Life Balance, as well as “Best CEO” for co-founder Harrison Tang.

About this Opportunity

We seek an exceptional Senior Product Manager, Web to lead a cross-functional team, enhance the Spokeo site, including consumer and business product experiences, and drive conversion and retention. As someone with a keen eye for user experience, strong collaboration skills, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities, you will deliver innovative solutions that elevate all end-user experiences. In this role, you will have the authority to ideate and develop features that delight customers, defining the product roadmap through collaboration with business stakeholders and engineering, analytics, design, marketing, legal, and other product management teams. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a cross-functional Scrum team as Product Owner, owning the planning and prioritization of the backlog, monitoring key metrics, and driving efficient end-to-end product development from conception to launch.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and analytics teams to drive innovation. Implement new features, collect feedback and requirements, and gain deeper insights to drive the product's future.

  • Embrace the opportunity to challenge the norm and relentlessly pursue simple, elegant customer experiences.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends beyond Spokeo, align product teams and partners, and inspire leadership to support your product and business ideas.

  • Serve as a product evangelist, promoting alignment among leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and the product team.

What You’ve Done:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Product Design, or a related field.

  • You have 5+ years of experience with product management, product development, and funnel optimization for consumer web products.

  • You are experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging senior stakeholders, and using agile software development.

  • You can create a well-planned roadmap by strategically breaking down projects into MVPs, and optimizing customer and business value with minimal effort.

  • You know how to utilize both quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product prioritization and decision-making.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your clear and concise product specs inspire and motivate teams toward a bold vision.

  • Experience with data related to public records, people, businesses, and/or properties is highly preferred. Experience with UI, UX, and/or HCI is desired.
