About the team:
You will be joining our typing and desktop experience team, which is focused on improving the typing experience across multiple platforms and also the macOS desktop experience within our award-winning product.
About the role:
This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:
Play a key role in crafting and maintaining a high quality typing and desktop experience for Goodnotes users
Collaborate with the team on prioritization, implementation and keeping track of the different sprints, stories, issues, and metrics
Generate insights from various sources and use this data to iterate on feedback so that we can make decisions on priority, scope, requirements, and direction with confidence
Draft product requirement documents and work closely together with designers and developers on turning them into reality
Define, execute, and evaluate feature releases, so that the team knows why, how, when, and what we needs to be delivered
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
Passionate in word processing softwares, productivity tools and practices
4+ years of experience shaping and shipping meaningful products that have been transformational to its users
Solid technical understanding and proven experience working closely with engineering teams. You don’t have to be an engineer but you should be able to think like one when it matters
Strong prioritzation and collaboration skills with a focus on hands-down work
Ability to multitask and thrive in an environment where the context changes often
Track record in coming up and shipping unique high leverage ideas from in-depth technical and product insights
Great story teller and communicator both verbally and in written form
Comfortability in working with a high degree of uncertainty and ambiguity
Experience in building products/features for large userbases (>500k DAU)
Strong analytical skills
Experience working on a product focused on typing experience is a plus
Experience conducting user research is preferred
