Senior Product Manager - Subscription & Lifecycle
We’re looking for a technically curious, customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager, Subscription & Lifecycle to own the foundational experiences that define how customers activate, manage, and grow their relationship with Muck Rack. This role focuses on subscription lifecycle workflows including activation, onboarding, provisioning, entitlements, access changes, and ongoing maintenance that enable product-led growth while supporting sales-assisted expansion.
This is an end-user product role with deep platform adjacency. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, UX, Operations, and Go-To-Market partners to design and ship scalable systems that determine how customers get more Muck Rack — from first activation through expansion, change, and long-term use.
What you’ll do:
Own the subscription and lifecycle product surface end to end, including activation, onboarding, provisioning, entitlements, access changes, and maintenance workflows
Partner closely with Engineering to design scalable, API-driven solutions that support customer growth, internal tooling, and future platform evolution
Translate customer and internal needs into clear product requirements that balance usability, security, scalability, and system constraints
Drive product-led growth (PLG) experiences that make it easy for customers to discover, adopt, and expand their use of Muck Rack over time
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement to ensure lifecycle workflows support real GTM motion without creating friction or manual workarounds
Maintain and prioritize a backlog of work in close partnership with Engineering, ensuring clarity on scope, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities, validate decisions, and measure impact across activation, usage, retention, and expansion
Communicate clearly with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and GTM to align on priorities, timelines, and outcomes
How success will be measured in this role:
Customers can easily activate, manage, and expand their subscriptions with minimal friction
Subscription and lifecycle workflows support both self-serve PLG and sales-assisted growth
Engineering teams have clear, well-scoped requirements that enable scalable, maintainable systems
APIs and internal systems are designed with long-term extensibility and reliability in mind
Product decisions are grounded in data, customer insight, and thoughtful tradeoffs
If the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role:
4+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment, or equivalent experience in platform-adjacent product roles.
Experience owning end-user product solutions tied to subscriptions, accounts, users, provisioning, entitlements, or lifecycle workflows.
Strong understanding of how APIs and large systems work, and how product decisions impact engineering complexity.
Demonstrated experience with product-led growth, from activation through ongoing customer maintenance and expansion.
Comfort working closely with Engineering to understand technical requirements, ask the right questions, and scope feasible solutions.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally across Product, UX, Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, Support, and Enablement.
Experience using product development and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, Heap, Pendo, SQL-based analysis).
Salesforce API experience is a plus, but not required.
