Senior Product Manager - Social
Product Remote - USA
POS - 7843
The Social teams, part of HubSpot's Build Awareness product line, own how businesses create, publish, and manage their presence across social channels on HubSpot. Social is one of the primary ways marketers distribute content, build relationships with their audience, and drive engagement at scale. In this role, you'll lead two of our three social teams - Social Creation and Social Management - while partnering closely with Social Insights to deliver a connected experience across the full workflow.
How people discover and engage with brands on social is changing fast. Algorithms decide who sees what. Short-form video is the default format. Social platforms are replacing search engines for product discovery. Audiences want authenticity and community, not polished brand content. And AI is changing how content gets created while consumers push back on content that feels synthetic. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can set direction for HubSpot's social experience in this new landscape - defining what great looks like for social publishing, management, and measurement, and helping millions of growing businesses show up where their customers already are.
In this role you'll get to:
Own the product vision across social content creation, management, and analytics, defining a multi-quarter strategy tied to customer outcomes and business goals
Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the future of social at HubSpot as a critical member of the Product Triad - our system for building product collaboratively and strategically
Partner with AI teams to bring generative content creation and intelligent workflows into social, shaping how marketers go from idea to published post
Navigate a fast-moving landscape of social platform API changes, emerging networks, and evolving content formats (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and beyond)
Use data to guide strategy and decision making, including defining success metrics, evaluating tradeoffs, and pressure testing assumptions where signal is imperfect
Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch
We are looking for people who have:
Experience launching customer-facing products, ideally across social media tools, content creation platforms, or modern marketing software
Strong content and marketing empathy, with experience building tools for marketers rather than purely technical users
Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces and turning uncertainty into clear direction
A data-oriented approach to product management, using metrics and tradeoffs to inform strategy
Technical fluency and systems thinking across shared platforms and foundations
A bias toward action and progress, with sound judgment about when to ship, when to iterate, and when to pause and learn
The ability to clearly articulate product strategy and tradeoffs to cross functional partners and senior stakeholders
Experience operating effectively in complex product ecosystems where success depends on influence and coordination rather than direct ownership
Bonus experience:
Familiarity with social media marketing workflows - publishing, scheduling, content management - and the metrics that drive growth and ROI
Experience building products that integrate with third-party platform APIs (social networks, ad platforms, or similar partner ecosystems)
Background in martech, content management, or adjacent B2B SaaS platforms
Exposure to AI/ML-powered product experiences, particularly generative content creation or intelligent automation
As a member of the Product Management org at HubSpot you'll:
Join a product-led culture that truly puts the customer first
Create and advance an ambitious product strategy in evolving and ambiguous spaces, grounded in customer needs, business goals, and data
Partner closely with colleagues in UX and Engineering to create a high-value product that's both powerful and easy to use
Influence direction and decisions through strong product judgment, clear thinking, and collaboration
Know what will lead to getting promoted, and why, thanks to clear expectations and robust career paths
Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that's at home, in an office, or a blend of the two.
