Senior Product Manager - Payout
About the role
Your ultimate mission is to deliver a best-in-class Payout experience for our users by owning the end-to-end strategy, expansion, and platform capabilities. As the passionate advocate for our customers, you will own the product vision and strategy for our global Payout network across both Sendwave and WorldRemit. You will report to the Director of Product, Payments.
You will achieve this by:
Driving Global Payout Network Expansion: Developing a deep understanding of our users through research and data, and using those insights to define and execute a roadmap focused on expanding our Payout offerings in our key markets (across APAC, LATAM, and Africa), ensuring competitive rates, reliability, and speed.
Building the Core Payout Platform & Automation: Defining the CX North Star for our internal platform and user experience. This includes owning the roadmap to build new platform capabilities that support the automation of Payout operations and future-proof our growth.
Launching New Capabilities: Leading the rollout of new, diverse payout methods, including traditional and emerging payment technologies like stablecoin. Ensure every launch in our global markets enhances the user journey, removes friction, and builds trust.
Leading Launch Efforts & Team Management: Managing a team of launch analysts to support the rapid and compliant expansion of our global payout network, balancing the need for speed with company growth.
Driving Growth & Compliance: Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Legal to enhance our product offerings and drive growth, while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and payout system reliability.
What you'll bring to the table
Deep Customer Empathy: You have a proven track record of putting users first. You think in terms of user journeys, not just feature backlogs, and have experience with both qualitative and quantitative user research.
Data-Informed Decision Making: You are highly data-savvy and comfortable using tools from SQL to user analytics to uncover opportunities and validate your hypotheses.
Masterful Collaborator & Communicator: You build strong relationships and can clearly articulate a vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels, from a detailed engineering story to an executive brief.
Proven Delivery & Resilience: You have a history of shipping impactful products in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable making thoughtful tradeoffs with incomplete or imperfect information.
Asynchronous Delivery: You are comfortable working in a remote team environment. The broader Payments team and Zepz team spans a multitude of time zones, and we are not all online together at the same time.
Bonus points if you have
Product management experience in a complex domain like fintech or payments and can navigate its unique challenges.
Experience working for a crypto company with a solid understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including stablecoins and blockchain technology.
Familiarity with the specific regulatory requirements in international payments.
A personal connection to or deep familiarity with any of the immigrant communities we serve.
