What you will own:
As a Senior Product & Partnerships Manager at Zepz, you’ll report to the Director of Product, Payments. You will lead the strategy and execution for customer funding solutions for WorldRemit and Sendwave. Your primary goals will include to minimize cost of sales, provide the best customer experience for immigrants funding international transfers, launch new pay-in methods across multiple markets and complete replatforming from legacy platforms to our target state pay-in platform. Additionally, you will identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party partners such as acquirers and payment service providers. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and drive growth, while maintaining compliance with scheme and regulatory requirements. We are growing fast (yes even now) and at a stage where we want to move fast with high stability, so you’ll have to be comfortable with making progress with incomplete or imperfect information.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the product roadmap for customer funding experiences across our two brands, Sendwave and World Remit.
Partner closely with the Biz Dev team to identify, select, negotiate with and manage third-party partners (acquirers, PSPs) to support payment processing.
Build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with third party partners.
Identify and launch new pay-in methods across all Zepz send markets
Drive multiple work streams across the organization, simultaneously
End-to-end ownership of pay-in performance, reliability, cost and experience for Zepz
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to drive product decisions and features.
Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards.
Analyze customer data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in the funding process.
What you bring to the table:
Proven experience in product management within fintech or payments. You have in-depth knowledge of the global pay-in landscape with regards to payment processing, acquirers and PSPs.
You have third-party relationship management experience, and a natural ability to build rapport and collaborate to successful outcomes with senior stakeholders/colleagues
Data-savviness coupled with an inquisitive and investigative nature. You have a technical background and a broad set of analytics skills. You are driven by curiosity and are not afraid to learn or use new tools, write SQL, dig through tickets, dig into some code, or do whatever else it takes for you to frame questions and get data quickly so you and your teams can better understand a problem and prioritize solutions
You are comfortable working asynchronously in a remote team environment. The broader Payments team and Zepz team spans a multitude of time zones, and we are not all online together at the same time.
Clear communication skills. You’ll be making complex tradeoffs about what’s best for our users and our business thoughtfully and collaboratively.
Bonus points if you have:
A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or technical field such as statistics, economics, engineering, or computer science.
Great taste for building delightful user experiences
A familiarity with regulatory requirements in international payments.
Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to handle ambiguity gracefully.
A familiarity with any of the communities we serve
Please note we are only looking to hire in the United States this time round.
