Octopus Deploy sets the standard for Continuous Delivery, empowering software teams to deliver value in an agile way. Over 4,000 organizations globally –  including Ubisoft, ASOS, Xero, monday.com, Stack Overflow, NASA, and Disney – rely on our Continuous Delivery, GitOps, and release orchestration solutions.

Founded in Australia in 2012, our team of over 270 Octonauts now spans the globe. We combine high growth and big ambitions with a sustainable, balanced working environment. Our revenue has grown consistently between 30–50% every year for the past 8 years, and we’ve been profitable for 10 out of the past 11 years.

We’ve been remote-first since 2015 and work with an uncommon level of transparency. You can read our public handbook to learn how we work. We have a transparent approach to compensation that ensures people doing the same work with the same skill get paid the same, with well-defined career pathways. We foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-trust environment. We leave our job titles at the door and focus on doing what’s best for our customers and team. Our leaders never shy away from answering the tough questions at our all-hands calls or in 1:1s. We conduct interviews and onboarding virtually as part of being a remote-first company.

About the Role:

You and your team will be on a mission to make our SaaS offering the first and best choice to experience what we have to offer.

Why this job is exciting:

  • You’ll work closely with a Researcher and a Principal Engineer on your team to identify the most valuable customer needs to address and define the best solutions

  • Your manager (and other leaders) will be invested in your career and growth

What you’ll do:

  • Build an understanding of our customers across a range of industries and technology stacks

  • Uncover insights and shape the next 3-5 most crucial and timely opportunities for Octopus Cloud

  • Work in partnership with your Research and Engineering peers to make strategic decisions and drive execution

  • Collaborate with your team in thinking big, unifying the technical vision, customer needs, and business goals to find solutions to these problems

  • Work in close collaboration with our Revenue and Marketing organizations to help accelerate Octopus Cloud adoption

  • Inspire and excite the team to do the best work of their careers through stories of the purpose and impact of their work

We are looking for someone like you who:

  • Has multiple years of experience working on an Enterprise B2B SaaS product

  • Can guide discussions with customers to uncover opportunities

  • Has experience assessing opportunities and setting direction for the product/product area

  • Is comfortable managing a technical product, including aspects such as security, scalability, availability, etc.

  • Has a highly collaborative approach and creates alignment within the organization across executives, decision-makers, and influencers

  • Represents your product, always looking for opportunities to improve engagement and support customer success

  • Has worked closely with marketing, sales, or customer success teams to identify and prioritize changes that will unblock product adoption
