About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior PM to lead the strategy and execution behind how Sparrow connects with the systems that power employee benefits and payroll. You’ll own our integrations with HR information systems, payroll providers, and — in the future — state-level APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, partner-heavy environments and wants to build foundational infrastructure in a regulated space.

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for integrations and payroll capabilities

  • Work directly with external vendors (e.g., HRIS, payroll, states), internal payroll/integrations experts, and internal engineering teams to build scalable connections

  • Own product logic that supports accurate payroll deductions, benefits calculations, and reporting related to employee leaves

  • Navigate regulatory and operational edge cases with support from compliance and legal partners

  • Serve as a go-to expert on external data systems, partner schemas, and integration workflows

  • Build foundational infrastructure for a product that affects millions of workers

  • Influence our company’s payroll and integration strategies from the ground up

  • Join a team during a pivotal growth moment post-Series B

  • Work alongside experienced operators across product, engineering, design, operations, and compliance

About You

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B, fintech, benefits, healthcare, or similarly data-intensive and highly regulated fields

  • Experienced in API integrations, partner/vendor relationship management, and downstream logic ownership

  • Technically curious and comfortable reasoning about schemas, workflows, and exceptions

  • Thrives in ambiguity and is energized by high-ownership, high-trust environments

  • Excellent communicator, especially in cross-functional and partner-facing settings

Compensation

  • This is a full-time salaried, exempt position. Compensation ranges from $135,000-$170,000 and is based on your experience and legal state of residence.
