As a Senior Product Manager I, Merchant Services, you will own and evolve a core product area within our merchant experience. You’ll define and deliver a resilient, self-serve account management experience that balances automation, risk, and speed — ensuring customers have timely access to cash flow and simple reconciliation with their accounting systems.
What You’ll Do
Own the product strategy and roadmap for a defined area of the merchant account management experience
Drive improvements to onboarding, payouts, and reconciliation workflows to reduce friction and increase customer confidence
Partner with Finance, Payment Operations, Risk, and Engineering to deliver secure and compliant payment experiences
Translate customer needs — particularly those of RevOps and Finance leaders — into clear product requirements and prioritized initiatives
Guide new product ideas from discovery through launch, ensuring strong execution and measurable impact
Use qualitative research and quantitative data to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform decision-making
Define success metrics for your product area and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate within the Product Triad (Engineering + UX) to ship high-quality, customer-first solutions
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
Experience managing and launching B2B or B2B2C SaaS products
Strong understanding of online payment processing and payout reconciliation workflows
Familiarity with embedded finance tools and payment platform integrations
Experience working with risk signals, fraud mitigation concepts, or underwriting workflows
Ability to balance business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs when making product decisions
Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience using data to inform product decisions and measure impact
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience scaling merchant onboarding or self-serve financial workflows
Exposure to global payments or international compliance considerations
Experience integrating third-party financing or payment vendors
Background working closely with RevOps or Finance leaders in SMB environments

Work location preference eligibility: Remote / Hybrid / Onsite
Travel/Shift: Minimal travel expected
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
