Once they engage with our products, managing their subscriptions and maintaining full visibility into their transactions and billing processes becomes imperative. At the same time, it's crucial that our internal departments, such as Quote to Cash and Finance, are equipped with the necessary tools to support both our customers and our business effectively. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager to help drive execution and long term strategy for HubSpot’s Customer Billing Experience and platform teams. The role requires both a qualitative and quantitative approach paired with strong knowledge of customer fundamentals. Product Managers at HubSpot operate in embedded product models and succeed by collaborating with partners across Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics to make the most impactful decisions to delight our customers.
In this role you’ll get to:
Lead the Invoice and Credits teams, creating and executing against the vision for customer Invoices, Credits, and requisite Infrastructure.Lead the Transaction Platform product team, creating and executing against the vision for customer balances and requisite Infrastructure.
Evaluate opportunities for a more scalable billing experience for customers and ways of operating to enable HubSpot to reduce billing related inquiries and operations cost.
Utilize research and analytics to iterate on the existing billing experience to build more delightful end-user experiences
Partner with Engineering and Business Systems Analysts to develop and execute strategic roadmaps for the future of Quote-to-Cash at HubSpot.
Drive the Billing Product Group’s vision and strategy and create functionality that product teams can leverage when building solutions to solve customer's billing needs.
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, Business Intelligence, finance, other product groups, and security to deliver flexible and durable solutions to our customers.
Define and measure key performance indicators to evaluate and measure platform value and excellence.
Present findings and prepare strategy recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch
Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often
Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers’ experience, devise strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our customers grow
We are looking for people who have:
Experience building fintech or billing products at a SaaS company
Experience launching products successfully to customers
A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, business and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs
The ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences
A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others
A drive to understand customer needs deeply and truly solving for their problems
Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills
A passion for growing healthy teams and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating tough conversations that help people grow
A desire to understand how HubSpot products work
The ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
Demonstrated ability to adapt in an innovative and fast-paced environment
An understanding of the competitive software space
