Apollo is hiring a Senior Product Manager to build the next generation dialer experience that sales teams actually want to live in. Dialing is one of the highest frequency workflows in outbound and a direct lever on meetings booked. You will own the Dialer strategy and roadmap end to end, shipping improvements that increase calling efficiency, reliability, and trust. You will make dialing a first class workflow across Apollo including Tasks, People, Sequences, and reporting.

This role carries real ownership. You are the DRI for Dialer outcomes and will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Support, and GTM to prioritize the right bets, validate impact quickly, and scale what works. The bar is best-in-class ease of use and performance. Success looks like higher adoption and usage depth, fewer reliability issues, and clear lift in outcomes that matter such as connect rates, calls completed, and meetings booked.

Why this role matters

  • Dialer sits at the center of daily execution for SDRs and AEs and has direct impact on pipeline outcomes.

  • The surface area is meaningful. You will own both the user experience and the platform fundamentals including performance, reliability, and instrumentation.

  • Great product craft shows up immediately in customer outcomes. Improvements are measurable and visible.

What you will own

  • Dialer vision, strategy, and roadmap, including quarterly planning and sequencing of bets.

  • Core dialing workflows across Tasks, People, Sequences, and reporting.

  • Dialer quality bar including reliability, performance, and the instrumentation to measure it.

  • Cross-functional alignment and execution cadence across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Support, and GTM.

Mission

Make Apollo Dialer the fastest and most reliable way for reps to turn a target list into live conversations and booked meetings. Success is measured by adoption, usage depth, call quality, and meeting outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own the Dialer roadmap

  • Lead prioritization, sequencing, and execution of the Dialer roadmap as a core lever for pipeline generation.

  • Drive clear tradeoffs across reliability investments, usability improvements, and new capability bets.

  • Define success metrics and establish an operating cadence to measure impact and iterate quickly.

Build the best dialing experience inside Apollo

  • Make dialing feel native across Tasks, People, and Sequences with fewer steps and less cognitive load.

  • Identify the biggest friction points in setup and daily usage, then remove them through workflow and UX improvements

  • Ensure the experience supports both individual reps and managers who need visibility and control.

Scale and harden the platform

  • Improve reliability, responsiveness, and usage consistency to support high volume calling and enterprise expectations.

  • Partner deeply with engineering on quality standards, monitoring, and root cause analysis.

  • Ensure Dialer integrates cleanly with Apollo data, permissions, reporting, and automation systems.

Drive adoption through workflow excellence

  • Increase frequency and depth of usage by embedding Dialer into core execution flows.

  • Collaborate with GTM and Support to close feedback loops and ensure product changes drive real behavior shifts.

  • Translate customer pain into focused roadmap bets that compound over time.

Build for the future of sales execution

  • Introduce capabilities that redefine what great looks like, including smarter prioritization, AI assisted workflows, and connected insights.

  • Champion features that shorten the path from target list to conversation to booked meeting.

Competencies

  • High agency and strong ownership. You create clarity in ambiguous environments and push work forward without waiting.

  • Product judgment and prioritization. You focus the team on the highest leverage problems and make hard tradeoffs.

  • Systems thinking. You design scalable experiences that work across multiple surfaces and teams.

  • Customer empathy. You understand how SDRs and AEs work day to day and optimize for speed and confidence.

  • Execution excellence. You define, ship, measure, and iterate without thrash.

  • Cross-functional leadership. You align stakeholders early and handle disagreement constructively.

  • Technical fluency. You can engage deeply on performance, reliability, integrations, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of product management experience (SaaS preferred).

  • Proven track record owning a core product area end to end, from strategy and roadmap through execution and iteration.

  • Experience leading both platform-level investments (reliability, performance, instrumentation) and user-facing workflow improvements.

  • Experience building sales execution products such as dialers, sales engagement platforms, conversation intelligence, sequencing, routing, or pipeline workflow tools.

Communication and influence

  • Exceptional storytelling and product narrative skills that align teams and drive decisions.

  • Strong written communication with evidence of cross-team influence through PRDs, decision docs, and clear executive updates.

  • A collaborative partner who fosters debate and is comfortable pushing back constructively.

Mindset and problem solving

  • Demonstrated high agency in ambiguous environments. You identify the real problem quickly, propose a clear plan, align partners, and drive execution to measurable outcomes without waiting for perfect context or direction.

  • Thrives in ambiguity and can turn messy, undefined challenges into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.

  • Deep empathy for SDRs, AEs, and sales leaders, with an obsession for removing friction from daily execution.

  • Data-informed and customer-driven, able to diagnose problems with both qualitative insight and quantitative evidence.

  • A growth mindset with a high bar for craft in usability, trust, and performance.

Leadership and collaboration

  • Demonstrated ability to rally cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around shared goals and clear tradeoffs.

  • Skilled at setting an operating cadence, defining success metrics, and holding teams accountable to outcomes.

  • Able to partner effectively with GTM and Support to close feedback loops and ensure shipping translates into adoption and customer impact.
