 As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to drive innovation in the mental health market through designing and building scalable back-end services and infrastructure that provides increased value to all of our users.

💻 AS A SENIOR PLATFORM ENGINEER YOU WILL:

• Be part of the back-end engineering chapter, contributing improvements to our Typescript and Node codebase and the process for continuous integration and deployment.

• Design, develop and maintain our core cloud services on AWS, ensuring they are reliable, performant, and scaling with increased demand.

• Lead the design and development of new infrastructure and services to support AI applications, touching RAG, Agentic AI frameworks, and observability tools.

• Be part of our information security efforts, helping designing automation for security events and defining the be approaches to incident and vulnerability management.

• Establish a DevOps practice that supports and enables engineers and the business.

• Mentor and coach engineers across the company in best practices, building an empowered culture where all engineers own the reliability of their products and systems.

⚙️YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF:

• You have proven success as a  back-end focused or full-stack software engineer, ideally with some experience programming in Typescript or Javascript. 

• Deep hands-on experience as Platform/DevOps engineer or equivalent role, becoming familiar with key cloud services, architecture considerations, and trade-offs.

• Ability to work in an agile manner, desire to learn, understand how infrastructure supports delivering value to end users. 

• Strong expertise and knowledge of AWS cloud services. 

• Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (we use Pulumi, but experience with any common IaC technology is acceptable, such as Terraform or CloudFormation). 

• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana stack, CloudWatch, etc). 

• Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).

• Proficiency with Kubernetes – experience setting up clusters and/or migrating to Kubernetes is highly desirable

Bonus points for:

• Experience deploying SPAs and Node.js + GraphQL applications, familiarity with Linux VMs and scripting tools

• AWS certifications

• GCP experience

• Experience with using third party AI APIs such as those offered by Google, Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
