What We Do in NordLayer Core Team:

Our team builds a key internal product that powers the NordLayer ecosystem. We design and maintain a management tool for all VPN servers, providing a robust UI & API for other Web Teams while closely collaborating with the VPN infrastructure team.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Core team to deliver fully functional features for our product;

• Be involved in creating APIs that developers truly enjoy using;

• Provide technical mentorship to other team members, helping them grow their skills;

• Contribute to technical design decisions;

• Participate in task grooming, defining and breaking down work into manageable tasks;

• Write clear, tested, documented code that delivers real business value;

• Refactor, improve, and maintain the existing code base while adding new functionality;

Core Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience working with PHP;

• Fluency in Symfony;

• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems;

• Understanding of OOP principles & good code design;

• That you know a thing or two about API design;

• Good (My)SQL knowledge and experience;

• That working with Git is nothing new to you;

Bonus Points for

• Previous experience (+1 year) as a technical lead;

• Knowledge in CQRS;

• Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis;

Salary Range
