About the Role
Vidyard is looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People team. Reporting to the VP, People, the Senior People Operations Specialist owns many aspects of Vidyard’s People Operations, programs and systems that keep the wheels turning at Vidyard. These programs include but aren’t limited to: compensation, benefits, performance, people metrics, policies, workflows, HR tech stack and compliance. In addition, the Senior People Operations Specialist will lead new projects to continually improve our people processes and people experiences.
This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada.
What You’ll Work On
HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure People policies are legally compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with company culture while supporting ongoing HR compliance audits.
Compensation and Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs, including managing salary structures, group benefits renewals, and partnerships with external vendors.
HR Analytics and Reporting: Develop dashboards to track key People metrics and provide insights to leadership to drive data-informed decisions and continuous process improvements.
Systems and Process Improvement: Implement process improvements for efficient People Operations and manage HR technology, serving as Systems Administrator for key platforms.
Employee Engagement: Enhance employee satisfaction through initiatives and programs while serving as an advocate for employees on People-related inquiries.
Project Management: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Business Partners to execute high-priority People Operations projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:
5+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, with a focus on compliance, compensation, benefits, and analytics.
Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment legislation.
Technical proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas).
Experience with HRIS systems (Lattice, HiBob) and intranet tools (Confluence).
Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Resilient, adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
