The Role
Bitly is seeking an experienced Senior Mid-Market Account Executive – Growth to join our Sales team during a pivotal stage of growth as we advance Bitly’s sales and product-led sales (PLS) motions.
In this role, our Senior Mid-Market Account Executive - Growth will strategically focus on Mid-Market companies drive significant revenue growth and expand the customer base among Mid-Market companies. This individual will bring a deep level of Mid-Market knowledge, insights, and relationships based on past experience within this segment.
This individual will be a subject matter expert in communicating the value proposition, ROI, and best practices of Bitly’s products and services, while also strategically managing the sales process through a consultative approach. They will also be a critical voice in surfacing customer feedback to the broader organization to drive strategic GTM initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer centric, and inquisitive in nature, while also exhibiting an eagerness to build authentic relationships with senior level executives. They also have a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas in a SaaS environment. PLG experience is a plus!
What You'll Do
Effectively qualify leads and perform needs assessment, engaging in team selling
Lead sales cycle including account mapping, opportunity sourcing, consultation, pricing, and contract negotiation through deal close
Meet or exceed sales objectives at the Senior Mid-Market level
Build and nurture strong relationships with senior executives at the Director, VP, and C Suite levels
Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
Prospect and identify accounts within Bitly’s base that are ready for consolidation, running complex sales situations and sales campaigns
Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities, challenges, and provide recommended solutions
Keep informed of product line, competition and business trends
Collaborate with key cross functional partners across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing with a customer centric lens
Who You Are
4+ years SaaS sales experience in Mid-Market and/or upper SMB preferred
Ability to strategically prospect into Mid-Market accounts, navigating through organizations to identify decision makers
Experience operating in a high energy, fast paced environment focused on hyper growth
Strong track record of quota attainment and outstanding performance in a customer focused environment
Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), in addition to proven ability engaging with senior executives
Inquisitive nature, with strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills
Ability to successfully drive revenue and growth through the development of strategic relationships with new and existing customers by navigating organizations
Strong desire and proven ability to work cross functionally across a global organization with a solutions focused approach
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline OR equivalent experience is required
