Our award-winning software puts the power of data and technology into the hands of every solar professional to make solar adoption simple and predictable. Our software has designed millions of solar projects so far, empowering solar companies to sell, design, and install residential and commercial solar arrays accurately, seamlessly, and at scale.

We are a remote-first collaborative team of sustainable energy enthusiasts who love what we do. We’ve been named one of 'The Best Mid-Sized Remote Companies To Work for in 2024' by BuiltIn.com and have been recognized for the second time as a Certified Green Business (CGB) with the city of San Francisco. We’re in this together to support the world’s transition to solar.

About the Team

You’ll be joining a team of seasoned data professionals covering data engineering, analytics engineering, and analytics. We’re collaborative, curious, and passionate about applying data to solve one of society’s most pressing issues.

About the Role

In this role, your main focus will be marketing analytics - through the design of dbt data models, the building of compelling dashboards, and the sourcing of relevant data from various parts of the martech stack. You will not only draw insights from disparate data sets through compelling visualizations but also partner with the Marketing team to drive campaign execution and martech investment. You’ll partner with data engineering to ensure data is available and work closely with analytics engineers and analysts to follow dbt and Looker best practices. You will report to the Director of Analytics.

Your Impact

  • Translate marketing data in insightful dashboards to drive decision-making

  • Design and evolve logical and scalable dbt data models that reflect core marketing KPIs

  • Run and maintain departmental reporting in Looker

  • Work with marketing leaders to help answer questions like “are we measuring the right things?” “is our analysis helping us effectively come to the right conclusions?” and “do changes based on data insights have the anticipated impact?”

  • Partner with other analysts to ensure adherence to dbt/Looker best practices, QA dashboards/models, educate the team on Marketing data, and learn/support other domains’ data needs

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements; help scope and prioritize these requirements to develop analytics projects and dashboards

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience with integrated martech stacks, developing and delivering marketing data and insights

  • 1+ years of experience working with Hubspot, Looker, and dbt

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4

  • Solid experience designing and optimizing dbt and Looker models based on business and performance requirements

  • High-level SQL proficiency

  • Advanced problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

  • A passion for full-stack data modeling and owning the end-to-end process ensuring data quality with a focus on back-end data modeling

  • A can-do attitude towards examining issues, opportunities, and problems, with the ability to work under their own initiative

  • A collaborative mentality with a proven record of engaging with multiple collaborators across different business areas
