As a Canada Direct Sales Manager, you will be among our pioneering leaders in Canada, building what has not been built before, executing in uncharted territories while leveraging best practices from other segments that have had proven success. You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and leading a team of new Account Executives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. You are a leader, a mentor and a team player with the ability to drive your team to close deals at high velocity in a growing market. You are a self-starter with the aptitude to help your team rapidly build a large pipeline of new business and help them define a path to deal closure. You have strong business value presentation skills, are comfortable presenting at all levels of an organization and are able to coach your team to do the same. We are open to remote candidates, you also have the option to work out of our downtown Toronto office.

Is accountable - you have honest, transparent, and authentic communications with your colleagues, regardless of personal ramifications.
Is a team builder and coach of learning sellers - You not only motivate individuals but a team towards a collective vision and manifest a team atmosphere.
Preferred experience or has the ability to build a team in the Canadian Market, pioneering upmarket sales success in Canada
Sales Managers at HubSpot:
Have excellent time management and organizational skills
Have an analytical mindset and leverage data across all interactions
Have a track record of being excellent coaches
Are effective communicators and motivators across multiple mediums both externally and internally
Support salespeople in all aspects of the sales process and keep their team members accountable to KPIs that drive the business
Support the business in cross-functional projects to drive organizational advancement
Attract, recruit, interview, and retain top talent
Qualifications:
At least 2 or more years of leading and coaching a quota-carrying team
3 or more years of software sales experience
Experience selling/managing in the Canadian tech market preferred
Experience in building out a new team, preferably in a new market
Experience in successfully mentoring and/or leading others effectively
Experience leading a consultative sales process
Experience using CRM to manage and forecast sales opportunities
Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns
Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and PowerPoint forms
Proven track record of sales excellence
Comfortable with driving results in the midst of ambiguity
Superior professional presence, business acumen and presenting to executives
