Senior Manager - Paid Media
Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Paid Media will own the strategy, execution, and performance of Netwrix’s paid media programs across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and numerous other channels. This team lead will combine deep platform expertise with analytical rigor and a strong test-and-iterate mindset to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
This role requires someone comfortable marketing complex, technical solutions to highly informed buyers (security leaders, IT professionals, compliance stakeholders). You will work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) to ensure ad messaging clearly articulates differentiated value and aligns with real-world buyer pain points. You’ll also partner closely with Netwrix’s Creative Director and Design Team to ensure strong, design-led, and cohesively-branded creative is at the forefront of our storytelling (and helping drive strong CTRs).
The ideal candidate brings strong performance marketing fundamentals, hands-on execution ability, team leadership experience, and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to drive productivity and performance gains.
Key Responsibilities Paid Media Strategy & Ownership
Own global paid media strategy and execution across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max), LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads (Search), Reddit Ads.
Review & listing platforms (Capterra)
Develop full-funnel acquisition strategies aligned to pipeline and revenue targets.
Allocate budget dynamically across channels, regions, and product lines to maximize ROI.
Build scalable account structures that support segmentation by Product line, Buyer persona, Industry vertical, Account tier, Geographic region, Sales pipeline vs. ecommerce,
Ensure strong integration with landing page strategy, CRO efforts, and marketing automation workflows.
Performance Optimization & Experimentation
Lead a disciplined, ongoing test-and-learn program across: Ad creative, Messaging, Targeting strategies, Bidding models, Audience segmentation, Offer positioning
Implement structured experimentation frameworks (hypothesis → test → analyze → scale).
Drive improvements in: Cost per High-Value Leads / Opportunities, Pipeline contribution, ROAS, Customer acquisition cost
Establish performance benchmarks and continuously raise the bar
Conduct deep post-mortem analyses to uncover scaling opportunities
Data, Analytics & Attribution
Build and maintain robust reporting frameworks aligned to revenue impact.
Partner with Marketing Operations and RevOps to ensure: Accurate tracking, Clean campaign attribution, Proper CRM and marketing automation integration
Move beyond platform metrics to focus on: Pipeline, Revenue, Deal velocity, Customer quality
Identify inefficiencies and proactively recommend structural improvements
Translate data into clear executive-ready insights
AI-Enabled Marketing & Tooling Innovation
Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to increase speed and performance, including: Creative generation, Ad variation development, Audience analysis, Bid optimization insights, Competitive intelligence, Ongoing (automated) keyword research
Evaluate emerging AI tools for paid media efficiency.
Develop or collaborate on building lightweight internal tools, scripts, or automations to: Improve campaign setup speed, Enhance testing velocity, Surface performance insights faster.
Champion a culture of intelligent automation and productivity.
Messaging & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product Marketing to translate technical value propositions into high-performing ad messaging, ensure alignment with product positioning and competitive differentiation and align campaigns to launches, vertical plays, and solution narratives
Provide feedback loops to PMM on which messaging themes resonate most with technical buyers
Collaborate with Content, Creative, and Web teams to improve landing page relevance and conversion rates
Support Sales alignment by ensuring paid media efforts reflect ICP priorities and territory focus
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Directly manage or mentor paid media specialists (internal and/or agency)
Drive team accountability to OKRs and take full ownership of KPI targets across paid media performance
Coach team members on advanced optimization techniques
Manage agency relationships where applicable
Build a high-performance culture grounded in ownership, experimentation, and data discipline
Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on paid media experience, including enterprise B2B environments
Deep expertise in: Google Ads (advanced structure, bidding, and scaling strategies), LinkedIn Ads (B2B segmentation, ABM alignment), Meta Ads (prospecting and retargeting strategies)
Demonstrated track record of managing substantial budgets and delivering measurable pipeline and revenue impact
Strong analytical skills with comfort navigating multi-touch attribution environments
Experience marketing complex or technical products to sophisticated buyers
Proven ability to design and execute structured testing frameworks
High level of comfort leveraging AI tools in daily marketing workflows
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive stakeholders
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
People management experience
Experience building automation scripts or lightweight internal tools
Experience with ABM programs and intent data platforms
Familiarity with B2B SaaS metrics and revenue operations alignment
Experience working across global or multi-regional markets
