Purpose

As Senior Manager of Product Management you’ll define and drive the strategic vision and development of the products needed for Kueski’s experience. You’ll lead a dynamic team and also will work closely and primarily with engineering and design teams to build the product through agile development and collaboration in defining the strategy to achieve short-, mid-, and long-term goals, with the aim to deliver innovative solutions that contribute to Kueski’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple product lines and take a very high degree of responsibility for owning and delivering business outcomes

  • Translate ambiguous or complex ideas into clear, executable projects; communicate this as well as plans, objectives and performance measures and progress to all stakeholders

  • Spend significant time with customers to understand the business, identify unmet needs, and collaborate with Design and  Engineering to craft products that solve business problems

  • Combine qualitative research with quantitative analysis to deliver insights that inform product decisions

  • Build alignment across product team members and cross-functional partners so that initiatives and Epics transform to roadmaps considering dependencies

  • Ensure product roadmaps are well defined and that product managers are collaborating and communicating effectively with engineering, design, and business leaders to define and deliver on key success metrics for their products

  • Mentor, coach, and manage accountable product managers who facilitate effective scoping sessions, clearly document decisions made, establish & drive a consistent shipping cadence, ensure backlog for upcoming sprints is up to date, ensure product quality is high, and continuously monitor and communicate how their product/use case is behaving to understand if they are achieving the right outcomes and metrics

  • Bring expertise to the team with building scalable infrastructure 

  • Help evolve the PM discipline within the Product organization and grow a healthy, collaborative, productive, and inclusive product culture in line with our company values

Position Requirements

  • At least 4 years of team management experience with a track record of mentoring product managers

  • At least 5 years of product management experience

  • Exposure to working in a startup or fast-paced and agile development technology environment

  • Technical knowledge to define complex solutions and translate them into scalable products that solve problems

  • Solid financial acumen, ideally with experience in financial services

  • Demonstrated track record developing and deploying B2B products

  • An entrepreneurial, customer-focused product mindset 

  • Ability to work with financial concepts and payment transactions

  • Understanding of the customer life cycle in transactional financial products

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with understanding of development concepts and Agile/Scrum processes

  • Advanced and assertive communication skills in oral and written English and Spanish

  • Leadership and people management; driving company objectives and achieve goals through people and processes

  • Structured problem solver and expert at prioritization

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and disciplines using qualitative and quantitative methods to solve ambiguous problems
