  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical systems, tools, and environments that support scalable and consistent training programs

  • Assist in the development of certification and accreditation exam content, including item writing and scoring rubrics criteria

  • Continuously improve and iterate on content based on learner feedback, new product features, and evolving best practices

  • Stay informed on GitLab's latest features and ensure content remains accurate and up to date

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years experience in enterprise customer-facing roles such as curriculum developer, instructional design, technical trainer, or consulting engineer (ideally in a subscription/SaaS environment)

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning theories

  • Proficient with eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Clueso, and Camtasia, as well as productivity tools including Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite, and Microsoft 365

  • Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, security features, and DevSecOps workflows, along with familiarity with the software development lifecycle, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, containers, microservices); GitLab certification(s) strongly preferred

  • Skills in graphic design or multimedia development (e.g., videos, slide decks, job aids)

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with eLearning standards such as xAPI and SCORM

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience designing and delivering curriculum to large enterprise audiences

  • Familiarity with open-source communities and software
