Are you looking for an exciting investigative opportunity with a leading insurance carrier. Liberty Mutual Insurance is looking for an individual to conduct detailed investigations on suspicious losses and 'Ring' investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive and detailed investigations of suspicious losses and varying complexity.
- Lead in-depth interviews of participants, witnesses or claimants.
- Make disposition recommendations to management and execute of agreed strategy.
- Work with outside experts to determine accuracy of alleged facts.
- Provides investigation skills, fraud awareness training and technical expertise to branch offices and interdepartmental.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of progressive experience in conducting fraud investigations.
- Thorough knowledge of investigation techniques and prevailing SIU practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts, accident reconstruction and damage assessment.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
