Are you passionate about growth marketing and eager to work with one of the industry's top newsletters? HubSpot Media’s Newsletter Network is seeking a dynamic and driven Growth Marketing Manager to expand the subscriber base of The Hustle, one of the most influential newsletters in business and tech.
In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our audience development strategy. You'll be responsible for strategizing and executing initiatives that drive readership growth through email partnerships, digital advertising campaigns, and website optimization. As the Sr Growth Marketing Manager, your marketing acumen, partnership skills, and deep understanding of the digital news landscape will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth targets.
In this role, you’ll get to:
Campaigns: Develop multi-channel campaigns to drive awareness and subscribers for our industry newsletters.
Swaps/Syndication: Broker and negotiate ad/content swaps with industry-leading newsletters to strategically grow our subscriber base.
Partnerships: Develop and maintain partnerships with news aggregators such as Apple News, Feedly, Data is Beautiful, and Hacker News to enhance our visibility and attract new subscribers.
Advertising: Collaborate closely with the creative and media buying teams to launch and manage 30-day subscriber acquisition campaigns. Take charge of campaign copy and creative in partnership with production teams and ensure seamless execution through our media team.
Website Optimization: Implement and test monthly website optimizations to enhance user experience and conversion rates, directly impacting subscriber growth.
Reporting: Generate a monthly insights report for the newsletter editorial team to guide story selection and subject line optimization. Identify and highlight the most effective channels for subscriber acquisition.
Collaboration: Partner with product development, paid growth, creative, and editorial teams to develop our growth playbook. You’ll also work cross-channel with our YouTube, Podcast, and other media teams; helping us make HubSpot Media the best place on the web for business builders.
Performance Metrics:
Increase traffic to newsletter web properties
Directly accountable for the monthly newsletter subscriber goal
Collaborate with editorial and monetization teams to generate leads and retain subscribers.

Cash compensation range: 92000-138000 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
