Role: Senior Golang Developer (Remote)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver scalable and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews, solve, and debug issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Work well within and across teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the Golang ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Proven experience in Golang, JavaScript, and Microservices required.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, microservices, and containerization.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$52,000-$137,600] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
