The role is restricted to those physically located in Europe, while this is a remote position, we cannot consider candidates that are not based in such region. Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal, Spain or Malta.
Raketech is quickly establishing itself as one of the leading affiliates and performance marketing actors on the iGaming market. To spearhead the continued growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, fast-learning, and dynamic full-stack PHP/Vue.JS/TypeScript software engineer that will help us implement Raketech’s vision.

You have solid experience in working flexibly across the entire stack, and are comfortable with the development languages and frameworks it involves.
You are details and result oriented, with a true passion for delivering high quality software, the continuous improvement of products and ways of working. You are prepared to meet deliverables, remaining on top of all daily project activities, assess changes and risk management, and do so while managing multiple internal stakeholders.
You are a team player, comfortable working with developers, product managers, engineering leaders and DevOps engineers to ensure that the release of new features and the successful launch of new products.
You are comfortable working in a hybrid, fast-paced, remote-first environment.
As a Senior full stack software engineer you are expected to:
Develop new features, and address maintenance and continuous improvement of existing software with a strong focus on maintainability and quality.
Design and implement new components and services that integrate with internal and external services.
Ensure peak performance of our digital assets and swiftly resolving any issues.
Be proactive in setting high code quality standards.
Be proactive on how we can improve and automate processes, and improve the satisfaction of our internal and external users.
Identify the causes of reported bugs and implement the respective fixes.
Collaborating seamlessly with designers, software and test engineers in an Agile setup.
Evaluating the impact of features and defects.
Be proactive on how we can improve and automate processes, and improve the satisfaction of our internal and external users.
Adhering diligently to industry and company software development standards.
Share and promote your ideas towards the improvement of the products and the business.
Success in this role means:
Improve usability and performance of the platform for our Product Teams
Introduce new features that facilitate site migration and creation on the platform.
Sites hosted on the platform achieve outstanding core web vitals, uptime, reliability and performance results.
Sprint commitments are achieved regularly.
You are able to proactively contribute to the decisions taken within the team with fresh new ideas and solutions.
8+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge in Nest.js/React.js/Node.js.
Solid experience with TypeScript.
Experience with Storybook, unit testing and components testing.
Experience in designing and building REST APIs.
Experience with PostgreSQL, database schema design and performance optimisation.
Experience in working with Docker and containers.
Understanding of modern UI Libraries.
Understanding of caching and server-side rendering.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies.
Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways.
Available to work +/- 2 CET.
Nice to haves:
Knowledge of web analytic tools for monitoring website traffic and user behavior.
Experience with Technical SEO and website optimizations.
Knowledge of sports & casino gambling.
Experience with Auth0.
STEM degree.
